Poker Aces refers to two aces being dealt before theflop. It’s the strongest possible before theflop hand intexas hold’em Poker. But regardless many bettors find themselves on the losing end when dealt this hand.
When you are dealt a set of Aces, you just don’t fold pre-flop. You’re sitting with the best possible hand at this stage of the game. So how do you wager with Poker Aces ? Do you simply go all-in? I would say definitely no to that.
Remember, you’re trying to acquire as much profit from this strong position. You need to maximize the opportunity. Going all-in will actually drive most individuals into dropping out before laying a wager.
If you are in the initial position (1st or second to place a wager), you will place a single wager. Anyone with a decent hand will call, with luck a person will raise. If someone has made a raise do not hop to re-raise or call, wait for a short while – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.
After the flop your strategy will be to get rid of any player that might be able to build a straight or a flush. So I would start to raise aggressively, if you’re lucky you will trick one player into thinking that you are bluffing.
If you are in the middle or later position (near the last to cast your bet) you will observe as everybody calls and then raise. Even with you holding a pair of aces, if you can try to avert a show-down. Guard your hand by forcing others to drop out after the flop. If you don’t abolish your competitors you risk losing your hand.
